Wedding theme – In order to get flowers and flower arrangement for your wedding, first of all you need to decide on the color theme or style. Colours – to decide which color tones to use, because they are some many different kind of flowers hot colours like pink and red, but also pastels, you should match the colours of the flowers with the wedding gown, or wedding theme, if you are looking for contemporary flower scheme than pastel flowers are the best choice. BUT if you prefer the flowers to be the focal point of the wedding, you need to go for hot and bright colours
Budget – the most important thing in planning a wedding is your budget, this is what you need to keep in mind when you choose the flowers for your wedding, careful not to draw a hole in your pocket. Instead of choosing an exotic floral arrangement, you could choose only 1 flower from the arrangement to be exotic, it will not only look good, but it will keep your expenses to a minimum.
Wedding Reception Flowers
Floral arrangements for wedding receptions include all the decorations in the reception area, from the centerpieces to the gift table decoration to the reception door decoration. A great choice for the centerpieces are flower bouquets of yellow roses and white Canterbury bells. You can also create an arch under which the bride and groom will be made to sit with flowers. Another option is to place the floral arrangements across the reception tables, or spaced along the buffet lines to complete the look.

It is well known that fresh flowers and centerpieces kind of bind in together, it is a shame when you or your loved one, perhaps the other guests have different kinds of allergies such as allergy to a type of flower or allergies to the pollen from a flower, because you think that without lovely flowers on the reception tables, the wedding can turn into crap.
It doesn’t have to be like that, there is a variety of centerpieces you can choose that would look astonishing as centerpieces.
Allergies to fresh flowers
Just take a moment to think about feathers – you can ge tfeathers made especially for wedding centerpieces, all kinds of colours, shapes and length. If you are a sophisticated type of person try the peacock feathers - they would definitely have the WOW factor of your guests.
Candles are a great choice especially because there are so many decorations you can use with candles to make them breathtaking centerpieces. Did you think about taking a tall vase, place at the bottom of the vase a waterproof LED light ( color of your choice) fill it up with water, add some decorative beads and top it with a floating candle? I would do it for my wedding, at least you know the greatest touch of your wedding decor came from your very own hands

or something similar. Since I didn’t do the deco myself and my brain has the picture, I was unable to find a suitable image, according to the need of my brain.
Or maybe mix feathers with candles and small diamonds or crystal beads - take a candle holder the size of your choice , I would prefer pillar candle holder , being easier for you to decorate it. Then you can make a wreath out of feathers, again colour of your choice, make them thick enough so you don’t see through,(mind you, it is very easy to do a wreath since you can purchase wreath frames) you can mix the feathers with some organza or tulle fabric ( I would recommend to use organza as tulle is more of see- through kind) for a more elegant look and feel and to add a bit of sparkle try to sprinkle some acrylic diamonds in between the wreath.
What would feel ordinary by the word, with a proper arrangement you can create a perfect wedding centerpiece even by using branches. Don’t take my word for it, I can show you.

But. you don’t necessarily need to forget that thought of having flowers, even though someone is allergic to fresh flowers, there is always an alternative, you know like no to eggs yolks – there is always a substitute with the same consistency and properties. Instead of fresh flowers there are silk flowers available. Whether you’ve chosen to use silk flowers for someone allergy, or to keep them as a memento to the wedding day, or decided to have the wedding abroad, there are more and more high quality silk flowers, either you buy them from the high street or online, usually it’s even hard to tell which are fresh and which are silk. And you can use these flowers not only for bridal bouquets, but as well as for table centerpieces. I will provide a gallery with silk flowers table centerpieces. But then if you decide to go for silk flowers, make sure the boutonnieres are also made from silk flowers.
You’ll need to allow yourself plenty of time when planning and purchasing your silk wedding flowers. Not only will it take you time to choose or make your perfect flowers it may also take your supplier time to produce everything. But the great thing about using artificial flowers is that you can buy them well in advance.
